An iPhone goes to Alabama

The baker at Urban Standard coffee shop in Birmingham makes red velvet cupcakes...

...and letterpress stationery.

Find her art at Four Hats Press.

The Drive-By...

Truckers....

Were made in Alabama, too.

And Sandwiches for the Road...

Somehow always taste better.

Are you from Alabama? I have actually never been...well I was in Florence for a day but that didn't count. haha. I love that the baker who makes red velvet cup cakes also makes that beautiful letterpress. I wish I could've woken up today and made cup cakes and letterpress :) I love her bookplates!

Yeah, it would be cool to deal with buttermilk and ink and sugar and thank yous!

I'm not from Alabama (Georgia, originally), but Birmingham has some really great restaurants (Highlands Bar & Grill, Bottega, Hot & Hot Fish Club). I've never been to Florence but would like to go for several reasons including these...

My super-inspiring friend (and hairstylist) Cali is also from there. Check out her new blog if you get a chance...
